EXPLORING SELF-EMPLOYMENT Are you thinking about a career change to self-employment? This clinic will provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the information needed to decide if self-employment is the right choice for them. Also learn about resources available to you through the Small Business Development Center. Participants will explore critical issues related to business planning in an interactive group setting. The workshop provides tools and information to help participants learn: • How to determine if you have a sustainable business idea • Pros and cons of self-employment • What running a business entails • Is self-employment the right career choice for you? • The four major forms of self-employment • Introduction to market research and business planning This clinic is appropriate for those individuals who are not yet in business and are interested in general information.
